WELCOME BACK TO TERM 2

We hope everyone had a good break. What magnificent Melbourne weather we are enjoying right now. As always, we have a busy term ahead with Level 4 camp, NAPLAN for Years 3 & 5, new units of study, the introduction of Mathletics to KPS, school photos, reports and parent teacher interviews!

PRESENTING OUR JUNIOR SCHOOL COUNCILLORS....Junior School Council

At our last assembly, our Junior School Councillors proudly received their badges and were presented to the school community, including many proud parents!

Our JSC helps with charity fundraisers during the year, as well as raising money for our sponsor child. They also bring ideas from the students in their class to the JSC meetings for consideration.

....AND OUR NEW LIBRARY MONITORS!

It was a busy assembly, as our Library Monitors also received their badges. These fabulous helpers keep the library in order, help with borrowing and returning as well as running open Library sessions during lunchtimes.

Welcome to our website.  We hope that the information presented here helps you get to know Kilsyth Primary School.  Of course, the best way to get to know a school is to visit during school hours.  If you would like to tour our school, please contact the school office (9725 4320) to arrange a time.

Kilsyth's culture determines that:

Every single child must be given the chance to be the best they can be, whatever their talent or background. For students to learn effectively we form relationships which nurture each student’s learning based on individual need to help them experience success.

All students are entitled to an excellent education and genuine opportunity to succeed. At Kilsyth Primary School, programs and initiatives have been developed that create and maintain positive and productive partnerships between teachers, staff, students, parents and the wider community. Students in our classrooms are intellectually engaged, and feel a sense of collaborative partnership with their peers and experience supportive relationships with their teachers. These classrooms are rewarding places to learn and teach. more...
